A Level Govt. and Politics, Political Ideologies: Year 1/2

Year 1/2. In the AQA  course Political Ideologies is taught in Year 2 but in The EDEXCEl course it is taught the end of Year 1 and the beginning of Year 2

The resources on this page were developed originally for the Pre-2017 Government and Politics specifications. However changes in the new specifications and in particular the emphasis placed upon particular key thinkers within each ideology mean that the documents on this page do not currently adequately reflect the requirements of the new Specifications.

Consequently although I hope that the resources posted here will still be of use for the new specifications  students should obviously take advice from their teachers  as to how these resources should be adapted to meet the demands of these  new specifications. I am intending to extend these resources as appropriate in the future

Note also that there are some important ideologies which are not covered here. Also Fascist Ideology is not covered in the new Specifications but I have retained the resources on Fascism here
